Our Story

20 YEARS

Pro Refrigeration opened for business in 1990, combining Jim Vander Giessen Sr.’s 30 years experience running a Refrigeration Contracting business with Jim Jr.’s welding and fabrication skills to create a manufacturer of high quality Chiller Systems.

Jim Jr. remembers their first business plan explained by his Dad; “If we can build a chiller a month, we’ll make ourselves a nice living”. That first year they did reach their sales goal; 20 years later that original annual goal is often accomplished in a two week period!

20° F TO 35° F GLYCOL OPERATING TEMPERATURE

Each Chiller System is engineered specifically to operate at an operating leaving glycol temperature between 20 F and 35 F. Rather than fixate on applications outside this range, they focus on what they know and what they do better than anyone in the world.

COMPLETE PACKAGED CHILLER SYSTEM

The Pro Chiller System™ is a complete Chiller System. A packaged system built within a controlled factory environment, tested at design operating conditions, and shipped with complete refrigerant operating charge.
