It isn't often we have the opportunity to work on a project in our own backyard- we were extremely pleased when Safeway contacted us to work with them on a project at their bread plant in Bellevue, WA.

We just completed a very challenging and succesful project with American Red Cross. They were experiencing temperature control problems with their existing refrigeration control system. This project was at their new, state of the art, facility in Pomona, CA - the largest Blood Bank in the United States. We retrofitted their system, replacing their existing refrigeration control system with our CR110 Controllers (linecard in .pdf) . The results were fantastic.

Deutschland hier komme ich! Our Founder and President, Jim VanderGiessen Sr. will be traveling to Germany October 14-23, to visit and tour the head quarters for Bitzer International. Bitzer International is one of the leading refrigeration compressor manufacturers in the world.

He will be traveling with Bitzer Sales Representative Art Mathews and Bitzer Vice President of Sales, Richard Kobor. Pro introduced the Bitzer Compressor into our product line in 2004 with great success.

Look what just came in.... Damon Reed, Sales Specialist, was presented with a framed copy of his first official Purchase Order. Damon has done an incredible job since joining Pro- not just in sales but helping out where ever needed. Congratulations Damon- keep up the good work!

The results are in.......... By our count 23 to 28 Medals were awarded at the Great American Beer Festival to Breweries utilizing our chiller systems to make their beers- including the award for 2005 Best Small Brew Pub and Brewmaster given to Darron Welch, Pelican Pub and Brewery!! That's 11% to 14% of all the medals. Congratulations to each medal winner!!

We were happy to hear that Jon and his girlfriend Amanda have become engaged to be married! Jon has worked with us the past couple years (he developed this website) while attending college. We wish them the best.

Jim Sr, Jim Jr., Damon, and Gary have returned from the Food Processing Machinery Expo in Las Vegas. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see our display and meet with us- we are very excited about the new leads we received- it was a really good trade show.

We would like to thank the Westfalia Surge Company, our exclusive distributor to the Dairy Industry for sponsoring a great product release event here in Seattle . We had representatives from our 12 biggest equipment dealers in town for a plant tour/open house, dinner train event to the Columbia Winery (one of our customers!) and a one day seminar held at the SeaTac Airport Holiday Inn.

We debuted the new Classic Chiller System and the CR110 Refrigeration Controller. A special thanks to all the dealers for taking the time to make this trip- their input, advise, questions, and comments were greatly appreciated. Please check back for pictures from this event.

Orders for the new Classic Chiller Series have exceeded our expectations. This line was developed for the retrofit market, designed so you can add capacity to any chiller system. We were happy that one of the first installations was in our own backyard (it is actually 4 hours east- but close enough we could drive out and help install).
